Today we had fun preparing for Christmas. Elizabeth and her friend Etthel are at our kitchen table with dough for piparkogid (literally translated "pepper cakes," but in English we call it gingerbread). They had fun shaping the cookies, baking them, and then frosting and decorating them. At the same time, Evelyn attempted to build a piparkogimaja (gingerbread house).
