Bowling
I'm mindful that it's 11 in the morning in New York, and perhaps some of our prayer partners are reading this right now! If so, would you please pray for Tim as he is out bowling with our youth group?
Last week, 15 kids promised to come if we made reservations at a bowling alley. Tonight, Tim is out with a group half that size.
Maybe it's because tomorrow is Independence Day. Maybe it's because they didn't have the money ($4, which is a lot here -- about 1/3 of Chris's monthly allowance). Maybe they got tired of hanging around with us Salvation Army folks! Maybe it's because the girl who originally had the idea is sick. Maybe they just forgot!
But we are glad that Tim will have this fun time with the kids who are there. (Of course I'm home with baby Peter!)
