birth certificates etc.
It seems that much of our time lately has been taken up in pretty boring (not "blog-worthy"), but time-consuming, tasks. An example is needing to renew our visas. When we moved here two years ago, we were given a 2-year visa. Now we are hoping for a 10-year visa.
So we have had to fill out tons of forms and go to offices in Tallinn with Teele, the Regional Commander's secretary. The immigration office said that we need to have an apostille on each of our children's birth certificates; apparently the law has changed since we moved here!
So we had to send them to three different states (NJ, ME, DE) and have them sent back to us via DHL. Expensive!
But then NJ says that Chris's birth certificate was issued by the county, not the state, so they can't do it. So now we have to get family in NJ to go to the offices there personally to obtain a state-issued birth certificate, then bring it to the office that will issue the apostille.
I TOLD YOU it was boring! But anyway, please keep this whole process in prayer.
Other issues are the new corps hall here in Tartu, the new officer's quarters here in Tartu, and packing (and cleaning!) to move into our new quarters in Tallinn.

I have to renew my permit every year with new documents each time. It's a joy! I'm working on it now. No chance for me to get anything more than one year. I'll pray for you - 10 years would be great!
